    Get it onto your headset.

    1. Prepare your PICO account

      Use a PICO international account to download. If you do not have one, choose Register on PICO’s website in the download section, then Sign Up.

    2. Get the app and download

      Enter your email on this page and sign in with the email code. Choose Get free app if you have not added VRChat to your account, then Download APK.

    3. Install on your headset

      Transfer the APK to your headset and open it with an APK installer. You can also download and install through the PICO Store Lab Android app on your headset.

    4. Open VRChat

      Find VRChat in your headset library and follow its sign-in instructions. You can use your existing VRChat account.

    Do I need to change my headset region?

    This download-and-install method does not require changing your headset region. It uses a PICO international account to get the APK. The app still has its own device and network requirements.

    Which PICO headsets support VRChat?

    The official VRChat getting-started guide lists PICO 4, PICO 4 Pro, and PICO 4 Ultra. Check the linked PICO Store page for device and system requirements before installing.

    Is this the phone app or the headset app?

    This is the standalone PICO headset version. VRChat also has Android phone, Quest, and PC versions; choose the PICO version for your PICO headset.

    Is VRChat free?

    VRChat is free to get. Choose Get free app to add it to your PICO account before your first download.

    Do I need to sign in again inside VRChat?

    Yes. Your PICO international account is used to get the APK. Once you open VRChat, sign in with your VRChat account or an available platform sign-in option.

    How do I update an old version?

    Return to this page for current download information, then download and install the new version. You can also download it again in the PICO Store Lab headset app. Try updating the existing installation first and keep any error message if installation fails.
